Christmas Eve

We went to The Presbyterian Church of Bridgehampton for Christmas Eve service. It was exactly the sort of service I like on Christmas Eve... it was full of "Christmas carol" hymns and the big event was a Nativity Pageant put on by the Sunday school children. Here's a picture of the pageant.

Being close to dinner and bed time, we knew we were taking a chance going to an evening church service, but we all made it through. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids at the service. In the first picture is Aunt Dana with cousins Gavin and Luke, and then Larkin by the poisonous poinsettias. We had to pump Larkin full of Gerber yogurt melts to keep her from squirming too much - I think she ate half of the bag! As for the boys... Grandpa Bud summed it up well: "The ceremony was pretty uneventful, aside from Gavin losing his front tooth and Lukie setting his hair on fire with the candle"!!!!!!! Fun memories.
