During our last evening in Boston, we had a blast playing at Grandpa Bud's house with Larkin's godfamily. Here are a few videos that share bits and pieces of the evening we had with our family and good friends.
This first video is of Larkin imitating me when I said "hello!" in a silly voice. Katie, Melanie and I were joking around and saying it back and forth to each other and after watching us, Larkin wanted a turn... it was too cute!
This second video is one of my favorites. It is an adorable video of Melanie singing various nursery rhymes to Larkin, who was enraptured by her older, wiser "cousin". Melanie sang Row, Row, Row Your Boat several times, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, and their own fave The Pumpkin Song. Katie even sang the pumpkin song too! Larkin did some of the hand motions that go along with the songs, and she was just in heaven.
The last video is of a fun moment that we'll never forget. Grandpa Bud was "wrestling" with the girls! Grandpa Bud was playing with Katie and Melanie, and then Larkin surprised him by jumping on his chest. It was great fun and the girls loved it. We can't wait until they get to play together again.
