One of the bonuses of living so close to Brian's parents is that Larkin gets to see them regularly. Tonight we enjoyed the evening with Grandma and Grandpa Hittle at our favorite Chinese restaurant, Fortune Wok. Larkin met the owner, Rick, although she won't remember it because she was sleeping! We had a fun dinner and I got a fortune in my fortune cookie that said I would make money in the stock market (somewhat ironic given our current global financial crisis and the fact that the DOW is crumbling)!
After dinner, Grandma and Grandpa played with Larkin more at our house. Grandma played with Larkin in her high chair and Grandpa fed her a bottle. He also got her going in a "giggle-fest" which had us all in hysterics! We got a video of it - classic.
